Join us, the winner of BBC MasterChef, Alex Webb & Barny Butterfield, founder of Sandford Orchards in our brand-new restaurant The Farm Table, for an evening of incredible food, the best small batch artisan cider and of course, great chat.
Alex & our head chef, Tom will be cooking up an incredible 6 course tasting menu; beautiful duck from Creedy Carver, fresh seafood caught on local day boats, seasonal vegetables picked from our fields that morning, the best farm house cheeses & of course, lots of local apples, cooked over glowing charcoal embers & in our unique wood-fired oven.
Each course will be paired with a special Sandford Orchards cider, hand-selected by Barny & Alex for a unique quality it brings to each dish.
The evening will be hosted by our very own George Dart & Barny Butterfield, & there will of course be a Q&A with Alex at the end of the meal – it’s your chance to grill the man who won the biggest prize in cookery!
Canapé: Pizza oven baked flat breads, homemade ricotta, tarragon pesto
Starters: Devonshire crab, crème fraîche, lime, Sandford Orchard cider jelly, pickled baby onion, onion oil
Main: Maple & cumin glazed Creedy Carver duck, blackberry gel, duck fat potatoes, hispi cabbage, roasted duck & port jus
Cheese: Comté cheese, pickled apple chutney, crackers
Dessert: Apple tipsy cake, caramelised apple, vanilla creme patisserie, acid cider lollipops, apple sherbet, apple party popper
