Our own produce from the farm welcomes you on arrival to our food hall; we grow over 50 different types of fruit and vegetables, and when in season they are picked fresh every morning especially for the Farm Shop - wonky or not, nothing is wasted and there is no need for plastic packaging!
As well as our own produce, our food hall is packed full incredible food and drink from small-scale, family run, artisan producers. The source of products is of the upmost importance to us, and many of our suppliers have become good friends over the years. It is the passion, time and expertise that our artisans put into their products that makes them special and unique.
Each year we have a extraordinary celebration with our many food producers and friends ... watch the Harvest Supper video below
We work with incredible local artisan producers and farmers who share our passion for creating something with provenance and meaning, growing or sourcing the best ingredients and respecting time-honoured traditions. By supporting these producers, we not only put the best produce on your table, but also put food on the tables of local dairy farmers, butchers, bakers, confectioners, veg growers, cider makers, distillers and everyone who makes up the rich tapestry of our countryside culture.
Where we are unable to source locally, we go to our friends across Europe and the rest of the world to find and source the best artisan foods, that are celebrated in their local areas. From Champagne and unique wines, to delicious Italian treats and world class olive oils.
With over 17,000 visitors a week, Darts Farm prides itself on its exceptional customer experience & the warm, friendly atmosphere around the store, enhanced by the Dart brothers’ hands on management, family involvement & their passionate members of staff.
By now, we’re all familiar with the concept of wild animals being driven to extinction… but what about foods? Whilst the ‘Pig’s Snout’ apple may not pluck at the heartstrings in the same way the White Rhino does, for us the prospect is equally alarming. If we’re not careful, our children will inherit a world where flavour is made in factories and provenance is a thing of the past.
With the seasons changing and the nights drawing in, we're getting excited about all of the amazing flavours that come out at this time of year... nutty, earthy and sweet vegetables, perfectly marbled slow roasting joints, small batch ciders crafted on local orchards; it is the perfect time to make new discoveries with your cooking.
Join us here at Darts Farm on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th November for our Christmas Food Festival; a day of festive tastings, mini masterclasses and farm walks!
It’s time to get creative, hand making your very own natural willow star decoration with our friend, and brilliant local artist and sculptor Victoria Westaway.
It's the time of year to share world-class treats, amazing drinks and unique gifts with friends, family and loved ones - no matter how far apart.
