Mary Quicke

Quicke's Cheese

The Quicke family have been stewards of ‘Home Farm’ in Crediton for almost 500 years, with Mary Quicke now holding the mantle and pioneering the way in farmhouse cheddar production. Mary’s cheese is metaphorical of her ethos ‘farm as if you’re going to live forever’, and with generations of experience and craftmanship behind her (and a unique herd of dairy cows!) she is able to capture the best expression of the grass, soil and seasons.

‘farm as if you’re going to live forever’

Mary has been driven by the pursuit of excellence in her craft, and was recognised with an MBE in 2005 for her contribution to farming and cheesemaking.

Our relationship with Quicke's goes back to when Mary used to sell cheese to our mother, Enid, many decades ago!

Gabriel David

Luscombe Drinks

The Luscombe Estate has been a hive of farming activity for over 900 years. Gabriel David and his family have been crafting their delicious organic drinks on the estate in South Devon for 45 years; ever since his father Julian rejuvenated Luscombe's cider pressing heritage and began selling freshly pressed drinks from the farm gate.

"evocative natural flavours"

The family team ensure that each bottle of soft drink or juice is entirely free from concentrates, additives, preservatives, colourings, artificial flavourings or enhancers. By sourcing ingredients only from growers they know and trust they can guarantee that only the best goes into their bottles.

George Hollywood

Georgie Porgie PudDINGs

George began handcrafting his incredible puddings at the young age of 18. Last year, George and the team celebrated their 25th Anniversary Year and we are proud to have been working with them for a majority of this time.

melt in the mouth puddings

Their delicious ‘melt in the mouth’ puddings are hand crafted and steamed at their kitchen in Budleigh Salterton, Devon, using the finest local ingredients and traditional methods.

Howard Davies

Salcombe Gin

Founded 5 years ago by good friends Angus and Howard, Salcombe Gin is inspired by the stunning coastal town to which it owes its name.

One of our favourite gins, 'Start Point' is inspired by the citrus cargoes that Salcombe fruiters once traded. Created after months of iterations and blind tastings, each bottle of their amazing gin is hand distilled in small batches, using pure Dartmoor water and 13 carefully selected citrus and spice botanicals.

"double gold award"

By the end of 2017 “Start Point” had won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Gin Awards, Gold at the World Gin Awards and 3 stars at the Great Taste Awards.
