The RSPB store is located upstairs above Cotswold Outdoor. The store overlooks the Clyst Valley & our farmland, surrounded by wetlands where we have created a fantastic nature reserve for our local wildlife. The saltmarsh and mudflats surrounding the River Clyst are home to an astounding array of waterbirds. We highly recommend picking up a pair of binoculars and taking a look with your own eyes!
We are thrilled to have RSPB here at Darts Farm. The RSPB speaks out for birds and wildlife, tackling the problems that threaten our environment. Nature is amazing - help us keep it that way!
Around the farm and ponds, you'll see flocks of finches, tits, fieldfares, song thrushes, blackbirds and redwings. Watch the wetlands for brent and Canada geese, teals, wigeons, black-tailed godwits, snipe, curlews and lapwings.
An ideal spot, close to Topsham, to watch birds up close, including spring and autumn migrating birds, and winter flocks of waders, ducks and geese feeding and resting, from the comfort of the Lookout hide.
Your membership helps the RSPB save wildlife, protect wild places and connect people with nature.
The RSPB bird identifier lists 408 species of birds found in the UK, including some rare overseas visitors.
Not to worry, RSPB are the largest stockist of binoculars and optics in and around Exeter!
We love seeing your amazing wildlife photography and scenic snaps of the farm.
