From the humble beginnings of the farm shop hut nearly 50 years ago, Darts Farm has organically evolved in to the unique lifestyle shopping destination it is today, with a working farm at the heart.
Our food hall is an Aladdin’s cave filled with hundreds of local and artisan suppliers.
From the best Westcountry cheeses to incredible artisan breads, pastries and pies, local chutneys and world-class chocolates you’ll be sure to experience something new and exciting!
Make sure you say hello to our master butchers, Alastair and Philip; they know all there is to know about producing the finest quality meat, from handpicking live carcasses to traditional butchering techniques.
Grab your perfect tipple from our Drinks Cellar... Coming in March 2020 our Tastings Bar & Sandford Orchards Cider Innovation House; if you are lucky enough, you may see our old cider press and beautiful still in action.
In our restaurant, our chefs use the food hall as their larder, creating delicious seasonal meals for you to enjoy. Perhaps a gourmet steak sandwich, an artisan charcuterie platter or a traditional Devonshire cream team - what will you choose?
If you are in a hurry though, pick up one of our sandwiches, baguettes or salads from our Deli Bar. Freshly handmade each morning using seasonal produce and artisan favourites, there's plenty to choose from!
Pop into The Fish Shed to see owner Dave, who will likely have just stepped off a day boat with a fresh batch of locally caught salmon, trout and cod, ready to make the best fish and chips you’ll ever taste!
But it’s not just about the food! There’s also a very stylish lifestyle shopping experience on offer. With a compilation of carefully handpicked specialist retailers such as AGA, Fired Earth and Cotswold Outdoor as well small independent boutiques such as Orange Tree, Energy Hair and The Treatment Loft all under one roof.
You can also reconnect with nature by visiting the animals, winding your way through the vegetable fields on the farm walk, or wildlife spotting in the bird hide overlooking the wetlands.

The traditional choice for Christmas... We're proud to work with one of Devon's very best turkey farmers; Steven Slade of Rosamondford Farm in Aylesbeare.
Peter and James of Creedy Carver at Merrifield Farm in Crediton have supplied us with free-range chicken and duck for over 15 years. They share our passion and commitment to rearing birds to the highest standards of quality and animal welfare. To create a spatchcock chicken, our Master Butchers remove the backbone and cut so it will lay flat, making it perfect to cook on a BBQ.
