Wednesday 28th January, 7pm in The Farm Table. Join us in The Farm Table for a 3-course seasonal supper, where we will talk all things gut health, fermentation & the rise of ultra processed foods with registered nutritionist, Tamara Bennett and Rachel de Thample, River Cottage’s own fermentation and wellness guru whose expertise spans farm to fork fermentation, nurturing gut health and seasonal wellness.
The pair will share their extensive knowledge on on ferments like sauerkrauts, kimchi's, kombuchas and kefirs, as wells as gut-friendly tonics, broths and natural remedies and their impact on gut health, as well as inspiring recipes and simple tips to support our immune system through the colder months.
To Start
Sourdough with pickles and cultured butter
Roasted Jerusalem artichoke salad with bitter leaves, walnut, pear, fermented carrot and a balsamic dressing
Main - served sharing style
Whole Darts cauliflower stuffed with fermented potato chutney
&
Slow-cooked roasting rib of beef
Served with a brown lentil and turnip stew, and roasted Darts brassicas
To Finish
Apple, single origin bitter chocolate and kefir mousse with Darts raw honey
