Garlic & Lemon Roasted Romanesque

A Brassica veg, Romanesque has a milder, sweeter, and nuttier flavor than both broccoli and cauliflower, lending itself to a wide range of dishes and flavour combinations... Try adding some red chilli flakes to this recipe for some extra zing!

Ingredients

  • 1 head of Darts own romanesque
  • 2 tbsp Honest Toil Olive Oil
  • 6 cloves of the Garlic Farm garlic
  • 2 tsp lemon zest (plus a little more to taste!)
  • Cornish Sea Salt & ground black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place florets of romanesque on the parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil and crushed garlic. Mix everything around with a spatula.
  3. Grate the lemon zest over and sprinkle with sea salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, or until tender and browned.
  5. Serve warm, topped with more lemon zest to taste.
