SALLY'S STEAK ON COALS

Be brave and get cooking on coals this summer with Sally's sharing ribeye recipe!

Cook time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • A strip of Ribeye Steak from our Master Butchers (the bigger the better!)
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Method

  1. Heat your Big Green Egg to 225°C
  2. Lower steak directly on to coals
  3. Close your egg and leave for a max of 1 minute (for a medium rare steak!)
  4. Turn and leave for a further minute, then remove & wrap in foil
  5. Allow the steak to rest for a minimum 4 minutes (Sally's top rule!)
  6. Remove, place on a board, slice into thin strips, then season with cornish salt & fresh black pepper
