About our sustainable, eco-friendly hamper packaging

All of our orders are packed in recyclable card-board boxes, in addition to this our hampers are packed with recyclable, biodegradable and compostable shredded paper and any bottles are packed in biodegradable, compostable pulp safe packaging. For any orders containing chilled items we use woolcool liners and re-usable icepacks (perfect for lunch boxes and cool bags!).

An abundant natural material, as a by-product of rearing sheep
Totally compostable and fully biodegradable packaging, releasing valuable nitrates back into the soil
Organic fibres are broken down by seawater much faster than the manmade micro fibres and plastics that pollute our oceans

Ways to Re-use your woolcool liners…

Fill soft furnishings such as cushions and pillows or reupholster chairs
Line a hamster’s cage or a dog/cat basket
Line backpacks and bags to protect laptops and tablets
Roll up to create draft excluders to block
out cold breezes from your home
Wrap around pipes to provide insulation against freezing temperatures
Create needle stitch toys, Christmas decorations or cosy insoles for wellies/boots!

Picnics or lunchboxes (food safe & non-toxic)

Safe & environmentally friendly disposal…

To dispose simply cut the corner of the pack and dispose of the contents through the normal domestic waste system. The contents are benign, given the dilution of the polymer and purification of the water they are not at all harmful to the environment
The outer film is totally recyclable as LDPE 4
