The perfect table centre piece that is quick & easy to create, all you need to do is...

  1. Get your pumpkin, carve a lid, scoop out the insides.
  2. Find a vase or glass jar that fits inside.
  3. Fill the vase with water and pop a hand-tied seasonal bunch into the water.

Anna uses flowers with seasonal colours, such as roses and euphorbia along with dried maize, peppers, grasses, willow and more! To create your seasonal arrangement...

  1. Get your pumpkin, carve a lid and scoop out the insides.
  2. Using cocktail sticks, wedge the lid open - keeping it wider on one side in order to leave an area to fill with flowers and pods. To help wedge your flowers in and keep them hydrated, Anna recommends placing foam inside of the pumpkin and pourign water into this.

Anna uses Acer leaves, but any autumnal leaves will work! For this, all you need to do is...

  1. Stick your leaves to your squash using PVA glue
  2. Next, coat the whole squash and the leaves with another wash of glue to create a lovely shine.

This decorative squash can be as easy or as intricate as you like - an all you need is a felt tip & some PVA glue!

  1. Have fun and get creative drawing patterns on your squash with a black felt tip pen.
  2. Once done, simply coat the pumpkin with PVA glue to help protect the pen and give a beautiful shine!

Quick & easy... Choose any colour of acrylic paint you like to paint  your spooky Halloween creatures.

Anna used black paint to paint bats on her squash, but you could also paint ghosts, a black cat, a skeleton, a witches hat and much more!

If you want to draw an outline, use a small nib felt tip pen first!

Duck_Pumpkin_Darts_Farm_Devon_600x700Gourd Duck

  1. For this, you will need a gourd that has a narrow, curved over top, that can sit upright on its own.
  2. Once you have your gourd, all you need to do is draw some eyes for the duck and glue on small chillies using a glue gun for the beak, wings and feet!

Ornamental Gourds

Completely fuss & mess free!

Quick and easy - simply fill a basket with a selection of gourds of all shapes, sizes and colours. You can even arrange them on your mantlepiece or doorstep with a bunch of leaves and moss.
