Our Open Farm Sunday

Last weekend we held our own Open Farm Sunday where customers got to meet our farmers’ animals; try their hand at the traditional method of apple harvesting and get stuck in pressing their own apples into fresh juice with the help of Sandford Orchards and sample some of the delicious produce that comes from our local farms and producers.

We went exploring around our farm, wetlands and bird hide and held a farm trail quiz!

Our friends over at Black Dog Free Range Eggs also joined in on the fun as children got to hold one of their happy hens!
