Ice Cream vs Gelato…What’s the difference?

Gelato is made using more milk then cream and is slowly churned with less air, gelato has a smoother finish and deeper flavour compared to traditional ice cream....and with less fat and sugar!

Due to this unique but simple process, it's served at a slightly warmer temperature, for a softer and more treasured taste, where flavours shine through.

We use local Ingrediants that are right on our doorsetp, just like they traditionaly do in Italy!

Hand-crafted in the Cow & Cacao in micro batches by our gelatiera's, who use pasture rich, organic milk and cream from Riverford Dairy, who organically graze their cattle in South Devon.

Our Gelato is flavoured with seasonal real ingrediants; including our Darts Raw Honey, Devon Strawberries, LittlePod Vanilla, Roastworks Coffee... and obviosly our very own famous bean-to-bar chocolate.
